  	In memory of John ARMSTRONG, mason, Newcastleton, who died 8th July 1816 aged 53 years and Isabella MARSHALL his wife died 13th July 1836 aged 73 years. Janet their daughter died in N.America 27th November 1820 aged 31 years. Walter ARMSTRONG, mason, their son died 11th March 1834 aged 34 years. Margaret COWAN his wife died 21st March 1872 aged 60 years. Eliza daughter of the above John & Isabella, died 9th March 1837 aged 33 years. John ARMSTRONG, mason, their son, died 7th April 1863 (sic) aged 62 years. Jane Elliot, his wife died 2nd June 1869 aged 77 years.

William Elliot my nephew Ann Elliot my neice Bessie Elliot or Ingles, my neice John Elliot, my nephew Walter Armstrong, my Step Son She also wrote that: If any of the legaties find fault with the way I have willed anything I have to will the legatee that finds fault is to have nothing. My Great Great Grandfather - William Elliot was willed 6 of the good Tea spoons and sugar Tongues
